I decided to  flock my journal after getting a completely random anonymous comment that had absolutely nothing to do with the entry it was posted on. It may have been completely innocent but I'm not waiting to find out. I don't have the time or patience for Bunny Boilers so all personal posts will be locked. I know that makes me sound like an ogre but I'm not really, so don't be shy, leave me a comment and say hello if you think we have anything in common. I promise I won't bite.

All my fiction and icon/graphics entries will remain public unless I get some creepy stalker types there, too.

Title: Where Echoes Meet: Chapter three (Merlin’s pov.)
Fandom: Merlin – Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover.
Summary: Buffy, Willow and Giles are sent back in time to the court of King Uther of Camelot. (In my version of their world, Arthur and Merlin are history, not legend.)
Pairings: Merlin/Arthur (Eventually.)
Rating: PG for this chapter.
Warnings: For the sake of the story, somebody has to die at some point. It isn’t either of the boys or the Scoobies.
Chapter word count: 4454 words.
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Merlin. They gate crashed my brain and wouldn't let me rest until I wrote this down so if you want to blame anybody, blame them. No money is being made from this.
Thank yous to: [info]shu0chan . *\o/* Thank you for all your help, dear. And also to [info]risa7 for being my cheerleader I really appreciate your input. I also have to say thank you to [info]therg for making the "King Giles" icon that was the entire inspiration for this story in the first place.
Cross posted.

Previous: Prologue | Chapter one | Chapter two

Apologies for taking so long to post this next part.

Merlin had stayed with the others in Gwen's small house on the outskirts of the city until the early hours of the morning to make sure they didn't accidentally let slip about the whole 'magic' thing to his friend. He eventually left with a whispered promise in Willow's ear that he could come up with some kind of plan to help them get home, and a heavy feeling of dread sitting low in his belly that told him he didn't have a hope in hell of achieving such a thing. )

*strokes shiny new toy*

My old computer was beyond resurrection, for what we would have had to spend in time and money to get it going again it was just easier and cheaper to go out and buy a new one. So we did. We had to spend what we had saved for next years trip to Disney Land, which I am a bit bummed about but it was the only way we could do it.

It's Husband's day off today so he is tinkering with the guts of the old one and I am just hoping with everything I have that he can retrieve all my files from the hard drive. If not I will have lost over ten thousand photographs and all our video memories as well as all my various fandom stuff. Stories I've saved, my own (unfinished) fan fiction and an embarrassing amount of caps that I have snagged over the years. Oh God, I just realized I hadn't got around to backing up all my graphics and art work and book projects, either. My own personal folder alone was over 60GB in size. *whimpers*

I'm kicking myself because we've always been vigilant about backing stuff up before but it's been a mad year and it's been one of those things that we have been meaning to do but haven't found the time. I REALLY hope Husband can save everything.

I'm posting this from my phone (never done it before so hope this works!) because my computer gave up the ghost and died on me this morning. I'm gutted and already missing the ability to be online whenever I want/need to be. I dont like being cut off from everthing and not being able to send mail. I dont know when I will be back online, it depends if my computer can be fixed or if I will have to buy a new one :o(

Also, while I can, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, it really brightened a crappy day! *hugs* (Hate birthdays with a passion)

*hits send and hopes this works!*

I want to know what would be your top five songs from your favorite singer or band? Who has stayed with you over the years and made you sing along or be happy? If you don't have a particular favorite but you had to make the soundtrack to your life, what would be on it?
I tag anyone on my flist who wants to do it, please include youtube links of you can.
